These free-thinking and open minded workshops will establish connections to that will, embrace social media and technology, create teacher to teacher collaboration, provide choices that are teacher directed, while providing ongoing and supportive sharing.These workshops will coach, encourage, support and invite ideas for improvement in the 21st century classroom, for the 21st century teacher.
The Great Library uses an enabling approach, which concentrates on providing the tools, knowledge, mechanisms, and freedoms in an enjoyable constructive and liberating way, which initiates excitement and buy-in to all participants.

"College Readiness 6th-12 Grade" $50 registration fee

What is college and career readiness? This informative workshop enables the attendee to broaden their awareness of the mechanics of preparing students for college beyond the classroom. Topics include, key issues and challenges, and the seven principals of college and career readiness.
"The 21st Century Museum and Education Partnership" $50 registration fee

What is a 21st Century museum and how do we as educators craft content that fosters engagement, innovation, interaction and dialogue? The museum visitor experience is a powerful tool, and is fundamental to creating useful and engrossing content across grade levels. Find out the symbiotic relationship between community, school and museum programs.
"Embracing Technology" $50 registration fee

This heavily interactive workshop attempts to excite all teachers, tenured and new about the growth and expansion of all types of technology in the classroom! This workshop will focus on preparing teachers to use technology, while discussing key issues and challenges.
"Mobile Learning for Science" $50 registration fee
January 25, 2012 9am-1pm An interactive and fun way to encourage class participation using cell phones and other mobile technology-from the classroom!
